Children’s Books

“The Next Ruler”

Sample pages from a freelance Children’s Book I completed for Amerlish. Amerlish is a school/business in Beijing, China that teaches English to children in China. They provided the manuscript and I illustrated it for them. The book required of 50 illustrations as it was a “choose-your-own-adventure” book. Completed in September 2019.

“The Day the Dolphin Flew with the Eagle”

This was a short and sweet Children’s Book to illustrate for. I was freelanced by Dr. David Jennings to complete this story he’d written and dedicated to an old and close friend of his. He wanted to share it with the world as well! So he reached out to me and had me do the cover image and 12 illustrations for the book. Completed January 2020.

“The Last Spike”

This gallery contains select images I illustrated to be used in Amerlish’s Children’s Book – “The Last Spike.” The drawings were meant to look as if they’d been drawn in a journal, thus the ‘yellowed’ or ‘sepia’ toned pages, pencil drawn illustrations, and simple digital coloring.

Coloring Book for “Tales of Davy Jones: Quetzalcoatl”

This gallery contains select images I illustrated for a coloring book based on Carl Gundestrup’s Book – “Tales of Davy Jones: Quetzalcoatl.” You can visit his website here: https://talesofdavyjones.com/.

“Where are the Angels”

This gallery contains select images I illustrated for a personal/family children’s book written by Debbie Harrison called “Where are the Angles.” She wrote the book for her children and grandchildren, so it was only ‘published’ for her family. However, this project was still very fun to work on. It was completed with colored pencils and digitally enhanced in Photoshop.
